Question about how achievements are added to GW2 - Guild Wars Forums

Hi,

This is a bit complicated and a mouthful of a question.

Lets say I have X amount of achievements in GWs and I apply those achievements to GW2 for rewards. I continue to play GWs and gain more achievements. Can those new achievements be applied to GW2 for more rewards, at a later date?

I'm not entirely sure how the system works.

Basically I would like to know if I need to rush and get all the achievements in GWs before GW2 comes out. I hope that I don't need to rush and I can gain the achievement rewards after I am playing GW2. I just don't see myself gaining everything before GW2 comes out; which is why I am asking.

Q: Will I be able to continue earning Hall of Monuments rewards in Guild Wars after Guild Wars 2 is released?
A: Yes.

Keep in mind thogh that once gw2 comes out, at least I don't see myself playing any other game for quite a while. So it might be a good idea to get as much points in hom as you can before gw2 comes out if it's important to you, otherwise it might feel like a grind to come back to gw1 just to get rewards for gw2.
